There is no guarantee of passing. Here I sit without my CDL after 14 hours, plus an extra 2 hours I was given after I complained about one of the instructors (he’s not longer there and I appreciate the extra hours) and paying for 3 extra hours on top of that to feel a little more confident about my road test. I trained in a manual and failed twice. I have one more chance with DPS but have used my three uses of the schools truck, so will have to pay another chunk of money. Santiago was a good instructor and very encouraging but it just wasn’t enough time behind the wheel in a manual truck. Never met the owners. That’s a lot of money (nearly $3000) to walk away without a license.

Thank you for your training, I was able to pass the CDL class A standard road test on the first try. The services and instructors at the school are excellent. They even allowed me to come and study with the trucks parked at the school so I could be prepared for my tests. This test is not easy, drivers in training must continue to study on their own, especially the procedures and pronunciation of the parts, especially if they are non-English native speakers. :)

The folks at Austin CDL Services are great! They gave me all the necessary information to prepare me for the written test to get my permit. After that, the trainers were great at giving me all the information needed and practice that I needed to pass the DMV test the 1st time! They really are there for you! Each session they would ask me, what do "you" want to work on and we would go from there. Glad I went with them and would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to learn how to get their CDL in a great environment.
